Privacy policy
Effective 27 August 2026. Applies to Clinic Appointments India, the clinic directory and appointment booking service, including its use inside ChatGPT and Claude.
Who is responsible
Javotics is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data this service collects, under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Once an appointment is handed to the clinic you chose, that clinic is the Data Fiduciary for what happens next, including your care.
Contact: info@accellitec.com.
What we collect
- To book an appointment: your name, your mobile number, the clinic, date and time you choose, and an optional short reason for the visit (up to 120 characters).
- Automatically: technical logs of requests to the service. Mobile numbers appear in logs only as a one-way cryptographic hash, never in readable form.
We do not collect diagnoses, medical history, prescriptions, reports, health records, ABHA or ABDM record linkages, payment details, or documents. We do not ask for them and the service has no place to put them.
What we do with it
Your name, mobile number and appointment details are used only to make and confirm that appointment, to verify that the mobile number is yours, and to send you messages about that appointment (confirmation, reminders, and a link to view or cancel it).
We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising.
Who receives it
- The clinic you book with receives your name, mobile number and appointment details, so it can expect you and contact you.
- Our messaging provider receives your mobile number in order to deliver the verification code and the appointment messages.
Where a clinic is listed but does not take online bookings, we show you its publicly listed phone number and record only that someone looked for an appointment there. Nothing that identifies you is stored in that case, and nothing is sent to that clinic.
Processing outside India
If you use this service inside an AI assistant, that assistant is operated by OpenAI or Anthropic and your conversation with it is processed on their servers outside India, under their own privacy terms. Javotics receives from them only the booking details listed above. Our own systems for this service run in India.
How long we keep it
- Appointment records: 24 months from the appointment date, then anonymised.
- A slot reservation that is never confirmed: deleted within minutes, when the reservation lapses.
- Demand signals used to decide which areas to serve: these contain no personal data at all — only a clinic, an event type, a city and a timestamp.
Your rights
You may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, or erase it. You may withdraw consent at any time; withdrawing consent cancels any appointment that has not yet happened. You may nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to info@accellitec.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Children
This service is for adults booking appointments, including on behalf of a child in their care. We do not knowingly let anyone under 18 create a booking for themselves.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Mobile numbers held during an unconfirmed reservation are encrypted at rest and discarded when the reservation ends. Access to production data is restricted to named staff.
Clinic listings
Some clinics are listed from public sources, including India's Health Facility Registry, so that patients can find them. Any clinic can have its listing removed — see the takedown page. Requests are honoured within 7 days.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will publish the new version here and, where the law requires it, ask for consent again. Consent given at booking is recorded with the policy version and the time.
